November 2014 - May 2015 | Arlington, VAI managed the business-to-consumer digital strategy at an e-commerce startup, conceptualizing and coordinating our social media, brand blog, and e-mail marketing efforts. I improved messaging strategies across our channels by initiating an audit of our social media channels and monitoring our paid advertisements for opportunities to increase CTR and ROI. While redesigning our blog with user experience and SEO best practices in mind, I identified editorial content opportunities to brand our startup as the industry expert in all subjects floral.

Public Relations Chair at Boston University Asian Student Union
September 2012 - May 2014 | Boston, MAI managed our digital presence on social media and our website, outreached to community leaders and like-minded student groups, strategized sponsor outreach, and maintained a library of all image assets. I migrated our website onto WordPress in my last year of service, previously having used HTML, CSS, and PHP for maintenance. In preparation for events, I worked on sponsor proposals, identified potential sponsors, and trained representatives to assist in sponsor outreach. I also played leadership roles in event planning to ensure appropriate programming and that all logistics needs were met.

Programming Chair at Boston Asian American Student Intercollegiate Coalition
September 2013 - May 2014 | Boston, MAI recruited workshop leaders for our annual conference, personally working with each speaker to shape programming appropriate to our theme 'Communities in Motion' and ensure resources for our audience were made available. Our conference, held at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attracted over 400 university and high school students.

Social Media Coordinator at Ascends Personal Branding
May 2013 - July 2013 | Sydney, AUI used social media to promote the message of stronger personal branding for women in the workplace. During this two-month internship, we achieved a 222% growth in LinkedIn group membership and a 53% increase in Facebook "likes." I used Offerpop to launch an application-based Facebook contest and was involved in all steps from conception to execution. I created branded contest copy, oversaw graphics production, and secured sponsored prizes.

Communications Intern at Boston Asian Community Development Corporation
January 2013 - May 2013 | Boston, MAI supported the non-profit organization's efforts in the communications and fundraising capacity. I submitted writing to the region's bilingual English-Chinese newspaper, as well as edited and proofread copy for our printed marketing collateral to ensure proper grammar and branding consistency. On the fundraising side, I used DonorPerfect to track our donor database, Constant Contact to manage different e-mail groups, and telephoned over 250 organizations for sponsorship to our charity dinner.
